Meet our singers: Dave Frederick
I’m Dave Frederick and I’m the tall, bearded person in upper far right of the photo. I joined the White Heron Chorale bass section in the spring of 2009 to perform Carmen with the Fox Valley Symphony at the PAC. What a start for my tenure with this amazing ensemble!Originally from Madison, I have never strayed far from the Badger state, growing up in Madison, Eau Claire, Cedarburg and South Milwaukee. After graduating from the University of Wisconsin--Madison in 1979, I worked for 25 years as a commercial insurance underwriter in Minneapolis, Milwaukee, and Chicago. I moved to Appleton in 1995 with my wife Carolyn and our two children. I now sell for AT&T Mobility as a contracted employee through West Business Services. In addition to singing with newVoices, I am a member of the choir at First Congregational Church in Appleton, and enjoy acting on stage (or lurking backstage as a tech!) with one of the many community theater groups the Fox Valley is graced with. I enjoy singing and acting simply for the thrill of performing, and for the joy that performance can bring to our audiences.
